    Awesome tent!

  2. Outdoorsmen

    Lightweight for the cost.
Not a true 2 person tent. Very tight, only good for couples or people that want to be touching.
Waterproofing is good no leaks in heavy rain.
Overall good deal, compared to big brands the overall weight of this tent has a great value. Compare at around 400$.

Just back from a rainy 5 day trek in the Sawtooth Wilderness, Idaho and used the Near Zero 2 person backpacking tent and sleeping bag/quilt. I was impressed with the quality of stitching, zippers, fabrics and the “near zero” weight! Loved the extra double vestibule space and 3 storage pockets inside. No leaks or problems at all. I had previously been using a smaller tent that I paid $450 for. And loved the extra foot space of the bag, compared to my previous mummy bag. I’ll be using these Near Zero products on my trips from now on! What awesome equipment!

This thing is Epic. Easy to use, comfortable, light, and looks amazing.

I’ve used this tent on two recent camping trips now. First was motorcycle camping, the second for car camping. This is an excellent tent. It kept me nice a dry on both excursions, it packs small, and is lightweight. Very easy to assemble, black-to-black, red-to-red. If you still can’t figure it out, there’s a YouTube video on it. Two pockets inside for your small stuff, and a hook on the center roof for hanging a flashlight. Two doors, taped seams, and large vestibules created by the rain fly on both side. Just an excellent, excellent tent. Make sure you get the ground sheet that goes with it and remember 2 man really means one man in terms of tents.

I was doing a lot of research online looking for a 2 person freestanding tent. Narrowed it down and decided to pull the trigger with the spring sale. Got it the other day and set it up out back, and went over it with a fine toothcomb. All i can say is what a great tent had the same specs as the other tent I was looking at but almost half the price. It very roomy and has alot of head space. I can’t wait to take it out on my next adventure this summer.
